Hard spheres

This demo demonstrates the application of the Minkowski Analysis to an ensemble of hard spheres undergoing a phase transition.

The final plot shows the average anisotropy \langle \beta \rangle of the Voronoi cells as a function of packing fraction \Phi.

A detailed analysis of 2D and 3D hard sphere fluids with anisotropy indices is presented in:
S. C. Kapfer et al., Local anisotropy of fluids using Minkowski tensors. Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment, 2010(11), P11010.
